Amphitheatre Roof for the Grandstand
The OSHC committee is applying to the Gambling Community Benefit Fund to obtain funds to complete the Amphitheatre Roof to the grandstand steps that were constructed in 2007. If successful, this will significantly improve the amenity of this aspect of the school.
Relocating the cricket pitch
As facilities have encroached onto the oval (Activities/OSHC building, tennis courts, grandstand steps), the cricket pitch is now way off centre. As a result, the oval is no longer suitable for competition matches.
We are applying for a Community Grant from the Brisbane City Council to relocate the cricket pitch. If successful, some matches that are held outside The Gap can be played here. An added benefit is that the running track can then be relocated to be directly in front of the grandstand.
